What GradTrain Hub does

GradTrain Hub is the Emancipation Development Initiative's execution and accountability platform for students, graduates, researchers, entrepreneurs, and professionals building their careers. It turns academic, career, enterprise, and personal development goals into organized projects, scheduled action, consistent weekly progress, and practical support. Members can plan tasks and deadlines, track streaks, receive reminders, join a supportive community, use messaging and a leaderboard, and optionally request guidance from AI Coach.

How GradTrain Hub uses Google Calendar data

Connecting Google Calendar is optional. When a member chooses to connect it, GradTrain Hub creates a separate secondary calendar named GradTrain. Scheduled GradTrain tasks become events in that calendar created by the application, and changes to an event's title or timing can synchronize back to the corresponding GradTrain task.

GradTrain Hub requests access only to the secondary calendar created by the application; it does not request access to the member's existing personal or institutional calendars. Members can disconnect Google Calendar from their profile.
